Prescience collects your personal information through contact forms or the online application you fill out to join a Prescience Adventure. Personal information may be collected if you choose to register or login to the Prescience website.
The personal information that is collected may include:
• your name and contact information, including email address(es), skype and telephone number(s)
• information to check and verify your, e.g. date of birth, gender information
• location (i.e. your address for correspondence purposes)
• financial details in order to process your registration when we require payments
• billing information, including billing address

• information about your use of the Prescience website, communication and other systems
• medical and dietary information (registered participants only)
• educational information, e.g. school or university (registered participants only)
• contact details of a parent / guardian (name, occupation, phone number, relationship to participant) (registered participants only)

This personal information is required to provide services to you and to any participant(s) that you register with Prescience (or to provide information about services you may be interested in receiving from us). If you do not provide personal information we ask for, it may delay or prevent us from providing information or services to you.
Individuals applying for employment may also provide Prescience with employment information relevant to the position they are applying for. Their personal information on their resume is used in relation to Prescience job opportunities. Their personal information is not used for other purposes, unless permission is obtained, or otherwise required or permitted by law or professional standards.
Prescience collects “sensitive” personal information when you voluntarily provide it or when it is required to cater to your specific needs or when such information is required or permitted to be collected by law. When you voluntarily provide sensitive information to Prescience, you consent to Prescience’s use of that information for its legitimate purposes and consent to the transfer and storage of such information to and in Prescience databases. The processing of the special information is occasional, does not include, on a large scale, processing of special categories of personal data and takes place only for registering purposes or in order to take steps prior to registering with Prescience.

Automatic Collection of Personal Information
Prescience may record your IP addresses for IT security, system diagnostic purposes or in aggregate form, to conduct web site trends and performance analysis.
Cookies may be placed on your computers or internet-enabled devices whenever you visit Prescience online. This allows the site to remember your computers or devices and serves a number of purposes.

Social Media Widgets and Applications
Prescience web site may include functionality to enable sharing through third party social media applications, such as the Facebook Like button and Twitter widget. Any personal information provided through these applications may be collected and used by other members of that social media application. The collection and use of this information are governed by the privacy policies of the companies which provide the application. Prescience does not have control or responsibility for these companies or their use of your information.
Prescience website may host blogs, forums and other applications or services to facilitate the sharing of knowledge and exchange of ideas and experiences. Any information provided by you is shared with other users of the specific application over whom Prescience may have limited or no control.
Publication of personal data of third parties (pictures etc.) through Prescience sites is illegal, unless the prior consent of the data subjects has been obtained.
Prescience understands the importance of protecting children’s privacy, especially in an online environment. Prescience site is not directed at children under the age of 13. It is Prescience’s policy never to knowingly collect or maintain information about anyone under the age of 13. For applicants under 18 years of age parental consent is required for the processing of their personal data and their registration.

Data Security and Storage
Prescience uses the appropriate technical and organizational security policies and procedures to protect personal data and information from loss, misuse, alteration, or destruction. Additional organizational and technical measures are implemented for storing and processing the collected sensitive data.

However, Prescience has taken all necessary measures and has implemented all available technology for the protection of your privacy. Once your information has been received strict procedures and security features are employed by Prescience to prevent unauthorized access.
Prescience is required to keep documents or electronic records (contracts, requests and other correspondence) for as long as a contract is active or receives services from Prescience. Prescience will not keep visitors’ personal data longer than necessary for the purpose it was collected.
