The Adventures are designed for high school (grades 9-12) and college students who wish to join leading universities and become successful professional in their chosen fields. Students who wish to invest two weeks from their summer vacation and participate in a life-changing, culturally-challenging experience in Greece and the U.S.A. A custom-designed Adventure also exists for parents and guardians.

Our instructors are experienced professionals with international exposure, a zest for learning, and an obligation to share. They come from business, academia, government, and non-profits. Their detailed profiles can be found in the Adventure descriptions.

Our participants, high school students (grades 9-12) and college students, come mainly from the U.S., Canada, and Europe. They comprise a global community of promising young movers, the “Deltonians”, with the capacity to step out of their comfort zones, the desire to create an impact in everything they do, and the willingness to join a global learning platform

Each Adventure is completed in two weeks. However, if you wish to attend more than one Adventure, you will be able to prolong your stay in Greece and join up two Adventures for a total period of four weeks.

The typical number of participants in a specific Adventure is 15. Since the number of participants is limited, it is recommended that you apply early in order to find the Adventure of your first choice.

Although the Prescience Adventures are the same for our high school and college participants, the delivery and emphasis is adjusted to reflect the objectives of our participants. High School and College participants form different and distinct groups which follow their own itinerary.

At the high school level, studying abroad indicates independence, motivation, and a desire to have new experiences and meet new people. For our high school participants, Prescience Adventures are geared more towards gaining new business skills and knowledge with the potential to shape their individual goals and directions. High School participants learn about topics of interest to them, while at the same time are immersed in the culture of the country and are having FUN! This experience will strengthen their college applications; but even if their path after high school leads to travel, the military or joining the workforce, the Prescience Adventures will provide them with the confidence and global perspective that will benefit them in any future endeavor.

While the cultural immersion component is still strong, for our college level participants, there is more of an emphasis on what overseas study can do for their CAREER progression. The locations and curriculum for the Prescience Adventures are specifically tailored to the issues and objectives reflected in the Adventure topics.  College level participants learn how to navigate uncertainty, maximize opportunity, and pursue the career and life they want. In other words, they learn how to make “work” work for them.

Participants joining the USA Adventure, stay at luxury hotels in New York City, Boston, and Washington.
Each room accommodates two participants. Single occupancy may be granted upon request at an additional cost and is subject to availability.

Our Adventures in Greece are hosted at the most prestigious social club in Athens, the Ekali Club (www.ecali-club.gr), and at the premises of participating companies and host organizations. Our Adventure in the U.S. is held at the premises of participating companies and host organizations.

The Αdventure fees are all-inclusive¹ and cover the following:

• Luxury hotel accommodation ²
• 4-Day Premium Cruise to the Aegean Islands ³
• Events held at the hotel and at the premises of host organizations
• Full medical and travel insurance coverage
• Local transportation with VIP vans ⁴
• A tablet, yours to keep, preset with all relevant Αdventure content
• Breakfast at the hotel, lunch and dinner at select restaurants
• Admission fees for all site visits
• English-speaking group leaders, guides and facilitators
• Prescience personalized local gifts, T-shirts, backpacks, etc.
• Daily activity updates to parents, upon request

Upon completion of your Adventure, you will earn:

• Certificate of Completion
• Digital Badges for your participation and performance, to be shared across social networks
• Credits, based on a 96-contact hour Αdventure, subject to the policy and requirements of your institution
• The “Delta Report”, which highlights your leadership potential and shapes your career plan
• Access to our personalized “Prescience Career Advisory Services”
• Access to our “Deltonian Network” of professionals, academics, peers, and like-minded leaders

Submitting your application as early as possible is the best way to go. After all, the sooner you join, the sooner you can arrange your travels.  Since the number of participants per Adventure is limited to 20, it is highly recommended that you apply early in order to secure your participation in the Adventure of your first choice.

The process to join an Adventure is the following:

Step 1 – Select your Adventure

Our Summer Adventure program offers you the opportunity to select from five uniquely designed Adventures, situated at globally unique locations:

• Defining Success – U.S.A. (New York City, Washington D.C., Boston)
• Discovering Hellenic Heritage – Greece (Athens & The Aegean Islands)
• Developing Cultural Intelligence – Greece (Athens & The Aegean Islands)
• Dealing with Crisis – Greece (Athens & The Aegean Islands)
• Driving Your New Venture – Greece (Athens & The Aegean Islands)
• Detoxing You! – Greece (Multiple locations) for parents & guardians

Step 2 – Fill out the application

In order to secure your place in the Adventure of your choice, you must fill out the online application form and attach the supporting documents (copy of passport, medical status report, official school transcript or valid school ID card).  If participant is under the age of 18, a parent/legal guardian consent form must also be submitted.

Step 3 – Pay your deposit

To secure your place, a 15% deposit is due with your application payable either via wire transfer or credit/debit card.

Note: If you are a parent/guardian participant, you still need to follow the same steps, but obviously do not need to attach a school transcript or school ID Card.

To secure your place in an adventure, a 15% deposit is due with your application payable either via wire transfer or credit/debit card. The remaining balance is to be paid no later than 90 days prior to the starting date of the adventure, via wire transfer. All payments are non-refundable.

The Prescience Adventure fees are all-inclusive and cover accommodation, meals, local transportation, full medical and travel insurance, and all activities. However, round-trip airfare to and from the destination of your Adventure is not included in the Adventure fees.  You will need to make your own flight arrangements in advance, especially during busy travel months. Our team will welcome you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Once at your adventure destination, let your VIP treatment begin! We will take care of everything!

Note: If you wish, you may also purchase your own travel protection insurance (trip cancellation insurance) which provides further coverage for unexpected travel emergencies and cancellations).

Greece does not require an entry visa for U.S. citizens visiting for less than 90 days. International travel requires a passport that is valid six (6) months beyond the intended return travel date. Participants must also have tickets and documents for return or onward travel.

Greek Nationals participating in the U.S. adventures are eligible to travel visa free under the Visa Waiver Program (VWP) and will need to complete the online Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA).

Participants already possessing a valid visa will still be able to travel to the U.S. on that visa as long as the purpose of travel remains the same.  Individuals traveling on valid visas are not required to complete an Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA).

Participants can travel before the Adventure’s starting date or prolong their stay or travel after the completion of the Adventure, but Prescience is not responsible for their travel. Participants should make their own arrangements and purchase travel and medical insurance to be covered during their individual travels.

Familiarity with the Greek language is not necessary. Everyone involved in our adventures is fluent in English. Furthermore, most Greeks communicate in languages other than their own. During the orientation session you will be introduced to the Greek language by participating in a crash course on “survival Greek” (we have already uploaded all related app on your tablet).

You are absolutely safe. Athens has the lowest crime rate in Europe. It is by far the safest and friendliest environment. Our team is available to support you on a 24/7 basis. We are committed to providing you with an unforgettable experience while safety remains our first priority. A group leader is assigned to each group and accompanies the participants at all times, 24/7.  Safety, specific guidelines, and emergency procedures are discussed extensively during orientation.

We are committed to providing you with an unforgettable experience while safety remains our first priority.  A group leader is assigned to each group and accompanies the participants at all times, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  Safety, specific guidelines, and emergency procedures are discussed extensively during orientation.
