Prescience is a global community of promising young movers, the Deltonians, with the capacity to step out of their comfort zones, the desire to create an impact in everything they do.

Our Deltonians will walk away from our adventures with raised ambitions, increased confidence, and the necessary toolkit to make it happen!

Deltonians form life-long friendships with individuals from diverse cultures. Their learning experience is greatly enhanced by numerous professional visits to established companies, academic institutions, international organizations, government agencies, and nonprofits.  They interact in an intimate setting with well-known professors, high ranking business executives, top international economics and finance professionals, political personnel, and trade officials.

Deltonians’ progress and understanding of the subject matter is measurable and identifiable.  Their journey is measured and recorded and is acknowledged by the award of digital badges for skills developed and a certificate for the completion of the Adventure.

Deltonians, start an open and direct communication with hundreds of like-minded others.  The dynamics of this learning experience help Deltonians grow through collective intelligence. This is what we define as the network of networks; people from schools, universities, corporations, cultural institutions, service organizations, who are simultaneously building knowledge within their primary groups while advancing the knowledge of others.

Deltonians engage, collaborate, and learn from each other physically and online. They connect with communities of professional or personal interest, communicate with others in the field, share professional resources, and avoid the unregulated noise of the social media. A curated community of like-minded people allows participants to tap into the network to make connections and gain social capital faster and more effectively. Social media just cannot replace the advantages of a professional community like the Deltonians.

The Deltonians are a professional community, and as such, the breeding ground for authentic mentoring relationships. Our community provides Deltonians with access to several individuals with whom they can discuss their challenges. These relationships are formed because members genuinely want to see each other succeed, and contribute to each other’s growth in becoming successful business professionals or successful business owners.

All these community transactions could be the beginning of lifelong friendships, and help Deltonians build a solid network of people they can turn to during difficult and frustrating times.  Learning to create, manage and promote a professional learning network will soon become, if it’s not already, one of  the most necessary and sought after skills for a global citizen, and as such, must become a prominent feature of any school curriculum.
